G’day mate, my names Becca. Me and my daughter Benita arrived at AppleCast in March 2022. We are Bennetts Wallabies, which are native to Australia and New Guinea so it’s very rare you’ll find any of us in the UK. We are quite shy around humans as we haven’t had much interaction with them before coming here, but if you come over slowly and quietly then we will let you get close to us.

Hi, my names Benita. I’m the smaller wallaby. I’m not quite as confident as my mum, Becca, and I like to stick by her side where I feel safe. We both love to sunbathe and enjoy the hot weather. Sometimes you’ll see me clapping my hands or bobbing my head through the tall grass, the humans think its really cute. when we first arrived we were very shy and didn't let these humans come close to us. now we know that we can trust them we are much more chilled about them coming in our house and we don't run away from them anymore.
